Indicative Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Istanbul
Arrival at Istanbul airport, go through immigration process. Meet and greet our local representative and get transferred to hotel. Check in to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay is at hotel.

Day 2: Istanbul
Have breakfast in hotel. Proceed for Istanbul City Tour With Bosphorus Strait Sightseeing Cruise. Start your morning with a hotel pickup, or alternatively, meet your guide at a central location on the way to the Yenkapi neighborhood. Travel by luxury coach around the Golden Horn – the inlet of the Bosphorus Strait that splits the city onto two continents – and then pass through the Jewish quarter of Balat. See the intriguing Church Of St Stephen of the Bulgars – made entirely of cast iron – and then admire the Byzantine Walls of Constantinople. Head through the Greek neighborhood of Fener to see the Ecumencial Orthodox Patriarchate – a church compound where the ceremonial head of the Greek Orthodox Church is based – and then stop at the city’s legendary Spice Bazaar for a stroll. Also known as the Egyptian Bazaar, this colorful little market sells a concoction of wares – spices, tapestries, food and pretty much everything else in between! Return to your coach and travel the short distance to the port for your sightseeing cruise. Then, all that’s left to do is sit back and enjoy the ride! Relax with your camera poised, ready to capture top Istanbul attractions like Rumeli Fortress – an impressive structure that looks out over the narrowest part of the Bosphorus – and the Imperial Gardens of Royal Yildiz Palace. Pass underneath Bosphorus Bridge, and see marble palaces sitting alongside Ottoman-era wooden villas on both sides of the water. Watch the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life taking place on the Bosphorus’ banks as you return to the port side, and then disembark your boat for the short trip back to Taskim Square where this tour finishes. Day 4: Istanbul
Have breakfast in hotel. Experience the serenity of the biggest Princes' Island in Turkey, Büyükada, on this all day guided tour from Istanbul. After traversing the Sea of Marmara by boat, you will arrive on the quaint island to spend time exploring by horse-drawn carriage. On Büyükada, learn about the island’s history from your guide, like why motorized vehicles are rarely scene, and then enjoy ample time to lounge on its beautiful beaches. Overnight stay is at hotel.

Day 5: Istanbul – Cappadocia
Have breakfast in hotel. Check out from the hotel. Get transferred to airport and board the flight to Cappadocia. Arrival at Cappadocia airport, get transferred to hotel. Check in to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay is at hotel.

Day 6: Cappadocia
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel or in the town before starting your full day Cappadocia small group city tour. You will be picked up from your hotel at 9:45am. Start the day visiting Devrent Valley, also known as “Imagination Valley”, this is the most surreal-looking landscape. Your next stop will be Pashabagi also called the Monks Valley because Christian hermits chose to locate hermit cells and churches in these three-headed pinnacles symbolic of the Holy Trinity, it is possible to see all the stages in the formation of fairy chimneys at this spot. Proceed to Avanos (Venessa) the pottery centre of Cappadocia, this village is set on the banks of the Kizilirmak/Red River. The river gets its name from the red clay it deposits. You can watch the potters at work using kick wheels, the technique which has remained unchanged for generations. You will have lunch in a local restaurant before continuing to Goreme Open Air Museum. The world’s most important Byzantine cave churches are found in these once remote valleys where monks and nuns pursued monastic life from the 3rd century on. Here you can see the best preserved Byzantine cave wall paintings and frescos from the Iconoclastic period through to the end of Seljuk rule. Icons with scenes from the Old Testament and the New Testament above portraits of Church Fathers and saints depict the structure of the Byzantine universe. Panoramic view point Esentepe. With a spectacular view over Goreme, see the complete view of Goreme valley and Goreme village: fairy chimneys, rock formations and cave houses. End your day with Uchisar Castle. This tall rock, the highest point of the Goreme region. Overnight stay is at hotel.
