Day 01 : ARRIVAL AT VENICE
Arrival at Venice airport, go through the emigration process and get your own transfer to hotel. Check in to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Never was a thoroughfare so aptly named as the Grand Canal, reflecting the glories of Venetian architecture lining its banks. At the end of Venice’s signature waterway, the Palazzo Ducale and Basilica di San Marco add double exclamation points. Overnight stay is at hotel.
Day 02 : VENICE Have breakfast in hotel. Proceed for Half Day to Murano, Burano and Torcello. After sailing past the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, the Public Gardens, the tip of Sant'Elena and the famous Lido beach resort, the boat arrives in Murano, known throughout the world for its glass manufacturing industry. Here we stop for around 40 minutes to visit to one of the factories. The second stop is at the picturesque island of Burano, famous not only for its lace but also for the fishermen's houses painted in bright colours. The stop will last about 30 minutes. Then after a short cruise, we reach Torcello, the earliest centre of civilization in the estuary. Only the Cathedral with its magnificent mosaics and the church of Santa Fosca remain as testimony of its former glory. The stop will be for about 30 minutes then we return to St.Mark's Square. Tour ending times are approximate, as the tour might last slightly longer at times, especially during summer season.
Day 03 : VENICE – FLORENCE Have breakfast in hotel. Check out from the hotel. Get your own transfer to train station and board the train to Florence. Arrival at Florence, get transferred to pre-booked hotel. Check in to hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Italy's fashion industry was born and bred here. Homegrown designers Guccio Gucci and Salvatore Ferragamo opened haute-couture boutiques in Florence in the 1920s and shopping in the Tuscan capital has been stylish ever since. Overnight stay is at hotel.
Day 04 : FLORENCE Have breakfast in hotel. Proceed for Excursion to Pisa. A splendid excursion through the fertile and picturesque Tuscan countryside towards the historic university city of Pisa, famous for its architectural beauty. After a panoramic drive along the beautiful riversides, the tour proceeds with a guided tour to Piazza dei Miracoli to find the celebrated Leaning Tower, the Cathedral, an unequalled masterpiece of Romanesque art carried out between the 11th and 12th centuries and the Baptistery. The commentary of your guide will be particularly focused onthe Leaning Tower, one of the Wonders of the World. The visit will include entrance to the Cathedral. In case of long queue, it might happen the group cannot enter the Cathedral, in that event, you will be offered a guided visit of Piazza dei Cavalieri). After the guided visit, you will have free time (approximately 1 hour and a half) to discover on your own the historical quarter.
Day 05 : FLORENCE – ROME Have breakfast in hotel. Check out from the hotel. Get transferred to train station and board the train to Rome. Arrive at Rome, get transferred to hotel. Check in to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. A trip to Rome is as much about lapping up the dolce vita lifestyle as gorging on art and culture. Idling around picturesque streets, whiling away hours at streetside cafes, people-watching on pretty piazzas – these are all an integral part of the Roman experience. Overnight stay is at hotel.
Day 06: Rome Have breakfast in hotel. Proceed for Big Bus Classic 1 day (24 hours) hop on hop off and 4 walking tours. Get the keys to the Eternal City and see all that Rome has to offer on board an open double decker bus. Hop-on and off at any of the 8 stops, close to the most important attractions and monuments and discover some of the city most enchanting neighborhoods. Learn more about the history of Rome and its famous monuments with the on-board recorded commentary available in 9 languages . Use the bus to Hop-on or Hop-off in front of or very close to the most famous landmarks of the city: Colosseum, Saint' Angel Castle, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Venezia. Each stop is conveniently located in order to allow how to easily discover the city. You will also get access to a nice selection of FREE GUIDED walking tours, included in your ticket price, that will give you a focus on some of the most famous squares, streets and monuments of Rome. At 12.00 pm from Vatican stop (in front of Sant'Angelo bridge) tour ends in Saint Peter's square passing through Via della Conciliazione. At 2.00 pm from Vatican Stop the walking tour will pass by Piazza Navona, Pantheon and will end in Piazza Venezia. At 3.30 pm from Piazza Venezia stop, tour passes through the via dei Fori Imperiali and will end at Colosseum. At 5.00 pm last tour of the day, from Barberini stop, walking tour passes in Piazza di Spagna where clients will enjoy the view of the Spanish steps and the Barcaccia Fountain. It will end at Hard Rock Cafe where our clients will get a free soda.
Day 07: ROME – NAPLES – SORRENTO Have breakfast in hotel. Check out from the hotel. Board the train to Naples. From Naples, get transferred to hotel in Sorrento. Check in to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. A small resort with a big reputation, Sorrento is a town of lemons, high-pedigree hotels and plunging cliffs that cut through the heart of the historical core. Overnight stay is at hotel.
Day 08 : SORRENTO Have breakfast in hotel. The day is at leisure. You have enough time to explore this city by your own. Or else you can do Full Day Capri and Anacapri. Designer boutiques, chic cafes, dramatic scenery, it must be Capri. You probably decided you wanted to go before you even got here, and indeed you are right as no visit to Campania region would be complete without sailing across the Bay of Naples to this beautiful isle. It has captured the heart of many a visitor who have sung, written, painted and talked about this enchanting spot. Whilst visiting Capri and Anacapri, enjoy an optional visit to the fabulous villa of Dr Axel Munthe whose best selling book Story of San Michele tells of his time on Capri; or decide to take the chair lift to the top of Mount Solaro a unique and hair raising experience (payable locally). You'll also have your chance to explore Capri Town with its winding streets, many cafes and the lovely Piazza Umberto and the colourful gardens of Augustus overlooking the famed Faraglioni Rocks. There's just enough free time to visit the elegant shops, stroll along the cobbled streets or simply relax.
Day 09: SORRENTO Have breakfast in hotel. The day is at leisure. Tourism has a long history here. It was a compulsory stop on the 19th-century 'Grand Tour' and interest in the town was first sparked by the poet Byron, who inspired a long line of holidaying literary geniuses – including Dickens, Goethe and Tolstoy – to sample the Sorrentine air. The romance persists. Stroll through Piazza Tasso on any given Sunday and you’ll be exposed to one of Italy’s finer passeggiatas, snaking past palatial hotels, magnificent marquetry shops and simple Campanian restaurants serving gnocchi alla sorrentina finished off with a shot of ice-cold limoncello. Overnight stay is at hotel.
Day 10 : SORRENTO – NAPLES Have breakfast in hotel. Check out from the hotel. Get transferred to Naples airport for final departure.
